Flower-power pax et lux

Healing Wild Rose (L. Rosa acicularis) from the Bach Flower Remedies
“We can judge our health by our happiness" wrote Dr. Edward Bach in his botanical research entitled, The Original Writings

Developed in 1930’s by the English homeopath, Dr. Edward Bach, he created (38) Original botanical remedies that are oldies but goodies. “Bach Flower Remedies (BFRs) are solutions synthesized with grape brandy and water that combines extreme dilutions of flower extract(s). The original Bach Flower Remedies are a safe and natural method of healing that was developed from 1920 – 1930’s in England. They gently restore the balance between mind and body by relieving negative emotions, such as fear, worry, hatred and indecision which interfere with the equilibrium of our being as a whole. The Bach Flower Remedies assists in restoring peace and harmony to the individual; thus, the body is free to heal itself. Bach Flower Remedies are made from wild flowers and are safe for the whole family including pets”

A pre-cursor for their day, these flower essences whether individual, pre-mixed and/or custom mixed can re-balance with ease and grace many imbalances in the physiological emotional energetic bodies. “Each solution is used alone or in conjunction with other solutions and each flower is said to impart specific qualities. These remedies are easily used for children, pets and domestic animals. Remedies are usually taken orally”.

More readily known for their flower-power awesome in Europe but not unknown in the States, these are gentle, natural yet great little energy tune-ups for calming the nerves, anxiety, assist in re-moving depression, re-moving fear of change and/or lack of self confidence in example.

“Bach believed that dis-ease was the result of conflict between the purpose(s) of the soul and a person’s actions and outlook. This internal war, according to Bach, leads to negative moods and to "energy blocking", which initiates a lack of "harmony", thus leading to physical dis-ease.”[13][14]:9–10

“Bach's work combined scientific methodology with higher knowing (ie. intuition, inner guidance and the world of un-seen or non-physical energy which is believed to account for 90% of the total). He realized the potency of morning sunlight passing through dew-drops on flower petals which transferred high-resonant energy (ie. a potent, healing remedy from the flower as it is imbued with water[17] ).

Initially, he collected the dew-drops from the plants and preserved the dew with an equal amount of brandy to produce what he called a ‘mother tincture’ which would be further diluted before use.[18] Later, he discovered that the amount of dew collected was insufficient, so he then began suspending flowers in spring water and allowed the sun's rays to pass through them.[17] Essentially, super charging the botanicals with solar energy. If it were impossible to imbue the botanical with sunlight while in spring water due to lack of light, he wrote that the flowers could be boiled to distill their essence. The result of this process Bach termed the "mother tincture", which is then further diluted before sale or use.

Bach was satisfied with the methodology because of its pure simplicity which involved a process that combined the four elements: The earth to nurture the plant, the air from which it feeds, the sun or fire to enable it to impart its power, and water to collect and be enriched with its beneficent magnetic healing.”[19]

Science and quantum physics now can measure such energetic frequencies in hertz whether it be flower essence, mineral and/or emotion as “everything is energy” and all energy carries a vibrational frequency which is experienced in a wave length very much like music. These beautiful remedies work so well because of their high-resonant, naturally pure energetic essence that has been encapsulated and bottled.

I was re-minded just how lovely yet powerful these floral essences are having worked with various synergies over the years personally, as I was mixing some #signature #recipe tinctures for several clients.
